STATUS UPDATE: LMU to Complete the Semester Online, Will Not Hold Commencement Ceremonies COVID-19

Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) President Clayton Hess has announced that LMU will complete the Spring 2020 semester online. LMU will not hold commencement ceremonies this spring. Degrees will be conferred on candidates that have completed degree requirements at the end of the semester.

  • LMU To Transition To Online Classes After March 13

    Lincoln Memorial University President Clayton Hess has announced that LMU will transition to online classes beginning Monday, March 16. All seated lecture classes will be moved online until at least March 27. Students should look for communication about individual courses from faculty members through LMU email.

    Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) School of Mathematics and Sciences hosted the Clinch-Powell Educational Cooperative Science Fair Friday, March 6, where 22 sixth-grade students from six counties competed in a regional science competition with $2,000 in prizes.

  • Knox Central Takes First Place in Science Olympiad

    LMU School of Mathematics and Sciences hosted six teams for a Science Olympiad Invitational Feb. 15. Participants included Knox Central of Barbourville, Kentucky (first place), Bell County High School of Pineville, Kentucky (second place), Corbin High School of Corbin, Kentucky (third place), and Concord Christian School of Farragut, Tennessee (fourth place). Knox Central Team B and Bell County Team B placed fifth and sixth.

  • Lincoln Memorial University Announces Dean's List for Fall 2019

    Over 600 undergraduate students earned Dean's List recognition during the Fall Semester of 2019. To be placed on the Dean’s List, the student must be a full-time undergraduate and have a 3.5 or higher, grade-point average for the semester.
