The Lincoln Memorial University Caylor School of Nursing (CSON) has been recognized among the top 100 graduate nursing programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in its 2025 rankings.
The national recognition reflects the continued excellence of LMU’s graduate nursing programs, which offer advanced clinical and leadership training for nurses pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees.
The graduate nursing programs are led by Dr. Tammy Dean, dean of the Caylor School of Nursing, and Dr. Jennifer Stocks, assistant dean of graduate nursing. Under their guidance, the program has expanded its academic offerings, enhanced clinical partnerships and upheld a strong commitment to preparing nurse leaders who serve rural and underserved communities.
“This is a major accomplishment for the CSON and is a direct reflection on our pristine graduate faculty,” said Dean. “I am so pleased to honor Dr. Stocks and the faculty for this amazing achievement.”
LMU’s graduate nursing programs are designed to meet the growing demand for advanced practice nurses and nurse educators, particularly in rural and underserved areas. The programs emphasize evidence-based practice, clinical competency and service to the community.
The U.S. News & World Report rankings are based on a variety of factors, including faculty credentials, research activity, graduation rates and peer assessments from academic leaders across the country.
