Community Events and Experiences

LMU is Your Community Campus

At Lincoln Memorial University, our commitment extends far beyond the classroom. As one of the region's leading centers for culture, education, recreation, and community engagement, LMU proudly welcomes visitors of all ages to experience the many programs, events, and opportunities that make our campus a vibrant gathering place year-round.

From world-class guest performers in Duke Hall to theatre productions by the LMU Players, community jazz and concert band performances, art exhibitions, literary events, and educational programming, LMU brings the arts and humanities to life for communities across Appalachia. Families can enjoy seasonal celebrations like Halloween Havoc, outdoor recreation at the LMU Splash Pad, LMU Park, and campus greenway, and a variety of camps, festivals, and special events throughout the year.

Community members are invited to connect through programs offered by Arts in the Gap, the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum, the Mountain Heritage Literary Festival, public lectures, sporting events, career fairs, and wellness initiatives. Our students further strengthen our communities through meaningful service projects and volunteer efforts that make a lasting impact across the region.

Whether you're attending a concert, exploring history, enjoying a family event, participating in a summer camp, or simply taking advantage of our beautiful campus amenities, LMU is a place where education, culture, service, and community come together.

We invite you to discover, explore, and experience all that LMU has to offer.
