STATUS UPDATE: LMU to Complete the Semester Online, Will Not Hold Commencement Ceremonies COVID-19

Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) President Clayton Hess has announced that LMU will complete the Spring 2020 semester online. LMU will not hold commencement ceremonies this spring. Degrees will be conferred on candidates that have completed degree requirements at the end of the semester.

  • LMU To Transition To Online Classes After March 13

    Lincoln Memorial University President Clayton Hess has announced that LMU will transition to online classes beginning Monday, March 16. All seated lecture classes will be moved online until at least March 27. Students should look for communication about individual courses from faculty members through LMU email.

  • LMU to Host 2020 Opioid Education Symposium

    LMU-DCOM will host the 2020 Opioid Education Symposium on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Opioid Abuse, Monday, April 20, from 12:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Tex Turner Arena on LMU’s main campus in Harrogate, Tennessee. Registration will open at 12:15 p.m. for all attendees. Community leaders and service-oriented front-line law enforcement, paramedics, and other trained medical professionals are invited to attend.

  • Dr. Patch Adams to Keynote LMU-DCOM 4th Annual CME Conference

    Dr. Patch Adams, world-renowned speaker on wellness, laughter and humor as well as on health care and health care systems will give the keynote address at LMU-DCOM's fourth annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Conference sponsored by the LMU-DCOM Alumni Association. The conference will take place June 12-14, 2020, at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The event is open to physicians (both DOs and MDs), physician assistants and nurse practitioners.

  • LMU-DCOM Adds Tennova Healthcare-Harton as Clinical Training Site

    Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) is pleased to announce its affiliation with Tennova Healthcare-Harton, as a core rotation site to provide clinical training to third- and fourth-year medical students. Nine students from LMU-DCOM will begin their clinical rotations on July 20, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare-Harton.
