LMU Carter and Moyers School of Education Receives Additional Tennessee Grow Your Own Grants Teacher with students

The Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Carter and Moyers School of Education was awarded five Tennessee Department of Education Grow Your Own competitive grants in the program’s second round of funding the state announced earlier this month. LMU’s grants total this go around is $500,000 of the $4.5 million awarded through the program. Last year, the University received three grants worth $300,000.

Bailey’s appointment is effective immediately, as Bailey is promoted to lead the department after the untimely loss of Chief Christopher King, who passed away in December after two months of being at the helm of the nationally recognized department.
