Hill's Pet Nutrition has awarded Lincoln Memorial University's Richard A. Gillespie College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM) a $12,000 grant to strengthen student support resources, helping future veterinarians access essential services while pursuing their education.
The funding will support Lincoln's Cupboard at LMU's DeBusk Veterinary Teaching Center (DVTC) in Ewing, Virginia. The pantry provides food, hygiene products and other necessities that help students focus on their academic and professional goals.
The award, provided through the Hill's Pro Staff Feeding program, reflects a shared commitment to student well-being and success. The grant will allow LMU to expand inventory and enhance services available to students enrolled in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, the Master of Veterinary Biomedical Sciences program and undergraduate veterinary programs.
"Preparing exceptional veterinarians means supporting students both inside and outside the classroom," said Dr. Stacy Anderson, dean of LMU-CVM. "This investment from Hill's Pet Nutrition helps ensure our students have the resources they need to succeed throughout their educational journey and focus on becoming the next generation of veterinary professionals."

Funding from the grant will be used to increase food and supply inventory, improve pantry operations and expand access to resources for students at the veterinary campus.
