Communication is an essential ingredient to laboratory safety. The Laboratories Policy Manual was created to properly communicate policies and produces within our teaching and research laboratories at the College of Mathematics, Sciences, and Health Professions.
The goal of the laboratory safety training program is to minimize the risk of injury by educating laboratory personnel. To do this, laboratory workers are required to go through a series of training videos (LMU lab specific training and CITI Training) that provides them with the tools necessary to avoid potential hazards.
