Join the field of physical health and wellness in the Sport and Exercise Science Department. It will provide you with a nuanced understanding of the physiological, biomechanical and psychological effects of exercise on the human body.
You have the option to select concentrations (if wanted) in Sport Coaching and Sport Therapy. You can also build your electives to lead you into other heath care fields. Students from this track have entered a variety of professions including personal trainer, exercise physiologist, athletic trainer, coach, chiropractor, physician assistant, physical therapy assistant, and strength and conditioning coach.

There is a 3+3 track with LMU’s OTD program as well as the Guaranteed Professional Admission (GPA) program. Students who enter this track will head to Occupational Therapy school.

Research Interest: Focus on fatigue, athlete monitoring in colligate athletics, and all aspects of women’s soccer performance.

Research Interest: Exercise Testing & Prescription for Healthy Populations. Special Interests include the exercise-related utility of RPE and Blood Flow Restriction.
