What Does IBCSC Review?

This committee reviews protocols that involve:

  • HHS or USDA Select Agents
  • Recombinant DNA
  • Biologic agents that create infectious or biohazardous materials
  • Generation of carbon particulates
  • Hazardous or potentially hazardous chemical use
  • Controlled substances
