Taking Your PA Education to the Next Level!
The Doctor of Medical Science (DMS) program's mission is to positively impact health care in underserved regions by preparing highly qualified Physician Assistants with a new set of advanced medical skills and knowledge base. Two majors within the DMS degree are clinical medicine and medical education. The clinical medicine major was established in 2016 in conjunction with the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) to offer doctoral-level advanced medical training to Physician Assistants. The new medical education major was developed in 2022 to offer Physician Assistants educational expertise to design and deliver high-quality education to future clinicians.
