LMU Guaranteed Professional Admission (GPA)

Are you the type of high school or transfer student who already has a plan for what's next after completing your bachelor's degree? Have you dreamed of going to medical or law school your entire life? If you're an ambitious high school or transfer student, you can get early decision admission and acceptance to your chosen undergraduate program, with a thoroughly planned pathway to graduate school already set for you. The Lincoln Memorial University Guaranteed Professional Admission (GPA Program) is a unique program that allows motivated high school or transfer student to earn guaranteed acceptance into one of our professional degree pathways after they complete their undergraduate program benchmarks.

That's right; qualified high school or transfer students can get guaranteed placement into one of LMU's graduate-level professional programs–like medical or law school–before you've even graduated. At LMU, you can have peace of mind knowing that you're already on the path to your desired masters or professional program before even beginning your undergraduate studies.

If you're ready to apply to the GPA program, the first step for all interested high school or transfer student is to apply to LMU via our Undergraduate Application. Then, the supplemental GPA program application must also be submitted. Finally, each professional pathway has specific admission requirements and/or benchmarks that you must complete to begin your professional education. Explore the list of undergraduate majors within the GPA program and the list of professional outcomes below to learn more about the individual programs.

Guaranteed Professional Admission Program Requirements:

  • Submit LMU Undergraduate Application
  • Submit LMU GPA Supplemental Application, including 2 letters of reference.
    • These letters must be written by a non-relative, and ideally speak to your character, academic disposition, or any field-relevant experience you have garnered to date.
    • Additionally, these letters should be submitted by a guidance counselor, science teacher, coach, or employer.
  • Submit qualifying ACT/SAT test scores.
    • Note: Each professional program has different standards regarding standardized tests, so please thoroughly read through the LMU GPA webpage dedicated to your chosen professional pathway.
  • Submit a 650-word (minimum) written personal statement that details:
    • how you chose this professional path and
    • what your professional career goals are
