The Richard A. Gillespie College of Veterinary Medicine offers unique opportunities for students to pursue elective credentials in specialized areas of veterinary medicine. Through the Badge Program, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students can earn micro-credentials that recognize focused skills and advanced training. In addition, the Equine Veterinary Education Program was created to address the national shortage of equine practitioners by providing students with enhanced preparation and hands-on training for careers in the equine industry.
