Phi Zeta Research Day

LMU-CVM is committed to recognizing, encouraging, and rewarding students who excel in research. The annual Phi Zeta Research Day celebrates student achievements and serves as a key platform for sharing research opportunities.

This event brings together LMU-CVM faculty, colleagues from the University of Kentucky’s Gluck Equine Research Center (UK GERC) and Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (UKVDL), students from all three pre-clinical years of the DVM program, our collaborators, and members of the broader LMU community.

The program features a keynote address, along with oral and poster presentations by students mentored by faculty from LMU-CVM and the University of Kentucky. The day also includes discussions on summer research opportunities at the University of Kentucky and the introduction of new initiatives to support student involvement in research projects during the fall, spring, and summer semesters.

The event is organized with the support of members from the Student Research Club.
