INSTITUTIONAL ACCREDITATION

Lincoln Memorial University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, specialist, and doctorate degrees. PROFESSIONAL ACCREDITATION

The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) has granted Accreditation-Continued status to the Lincoln Memorial University Physician Assistant Program sponsored by Lincoln Memorial University. Accreditation-Continued is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program is in compliance with the ARC-PA Standards.

Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the Standards. The approximate date for the next validation review of the program by the ARC-PA will be March 2025. The review date is contingent upon continued compliance with the Accreditation Standards and ARC-PA policy.

PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE DISCLOSURE STATEMENT

The LMU-SMS Harrogate PA Program's curriculum meets the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) requirements for graduates to be eligible to take the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) and state licensure requirements for graduates to apply for licensure in all 50 states. The program will monitor the NCCPA and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) websites for changes in these requirements.
