MLS CURRENT PROGRAM OUTCOMES REPORT

For more than two decades, graduates of the LMU–SMS Medical Laboratory Science program have been highly sought after by employers across the healthcare industry. Due to the strong reputation of LMU–SMS graduates, students frequently receive multiple job offers before or shortly after graduation across a wide range of clinical settings, including hospitals, physicians' offices, clinics, and reference laboratories.

The continued demand for medical laboratory scientists, combined with LMU's commitment to academic excellence and hands-on clinical training, has contributed to an outstanding record of success. The program is proud to maintain a 100% employment rate for graduates entering the medical laboratory science workforce within 30 days of graduation for 21 consecutive years. This long-standing achievement reflects both the quality of LMU–SMS graduates and the critical role that medical laboratory scientists play in today's healthcare system.
