Bachelor of Science in Education

For more than 100 years, Lincoln Memorial University's Initial Teacher Licensure Undergraduate (ITLU) Program has prepared highly qualified educators who positively impact students, schools, and  communities. Rooted in LMU's mission and tradition of excellence, the program equips future teachers with the knowledge, skills, and clinical experiences needed to succeed in today's diverse classrooms.

Graduates of this program are prepared to:

The ITLU Program meets all accreditation and regulatory requirements established by SACSCOC and the Tennessee Department of Education. The program aligns with standards established by:

The program is approved by the Tennessee State Board of Education and maintains rigorous standards to ensure excellence in teacher preparation.
