    do-mbaThe DO/MBA Program is designed for LMU-DCOM students who desire a thorough understanding of business principles useful to a physician participating in the business of medicine. The program will equip students with a broad foundation in management, marketing, finance, economics and accounting. The LMU MBA program focuses on the application of knowledge to real business situations, while always stressing the role of leadership and being managers in an ever changing business climate.

     

    This co-terminal joint program can be completed in four years. It requires the student to attend classes four days a week during one 8-week summer session. 

     

    DO/MBA Students can complete a General MBA degree (30 credit hours), or either an MBA with a concentration (36 credit hours) in Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, Management, Marketing, Nursing Home Administration, Operations Management, or Sport Management

    *DO students will take MBA 545, 550, 570, & 575 during their first summer within the MBA program.

    **DO/MBA students who elect to complete a concentration will complete a total of 36 credit hours, as two additional electives are required. 

    This program is an accelerated, academically demanding endeavor. Coursework will emphasize the use of case studies that require both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Enrollment is limited and competitive.
