HIDE ALERT
Inclement Weather Operational Update
Due to extremely cold temperatures and wet, slushy road conditions, Lincoln Memorial University will operate as an online instructional day tomorrow, Monday, February 2, 2026, for all locations with the exception of Brandon, Florida; Orange Park, Florida; Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Lexington, Kentucky, which will continue to operate on a normal instructional schedule.
This online instruction day includes J. Frank White Academy.
Students should monitor Canvas for all assignments, instructional materials, and guidance from faculty.
For locations operating online, University offices will open at 10:00 am. Employees should use caution when traveling, and supervisors are encouraged to exercise appropriate flexibility based on local conditions.
University leadership, facilities, safety, and emergency management teams continue to monitor conditions closely. Safety remains the guiding priority as we balance continuity of instruction with responsible decision making.
Please continue to monitor official University communication channels for any additional information or schedule changes.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Tagge Center for Academic Support

Tagge Center for Academic Support

Where Students Find Support, Assistance, and Guidance

We are here to help our students on their journey through college. The Tagge Center provides a variety of free assistance to meet the academic needs of undergraduate students. These services include: peer tutoring, academic counseling, coaching on note-taking, time-management, study skills assistance, writing help, training in test preparation and test-taking, test review sessions, and computer and printing availability.

Helping Our Undergraduate Railsplitters Achieve Their Goals

At LMU, we recognize that everyone needs some extra help from time-to-time. For assisting students academically, we have a two-pronged approach where we always encourage the student to discuss issues with their instructor first, but also believe that students can benefit from individualized tutoring as well.

While the Tagge Center is physically located in the library on the Harrogate main campus, we serve all our off-campus undergraduate students via video conference sessions as well. If you need any assistance, please stop by, give us a call (423) 869-6310, or email us. Our staff is here to help!
