HIDE ALERT
Inclement Weather Operational Update
Due to extremely cold temperatures and wet, slushy road conditions, Lincoln Memorial University will operate as an online instructional day tomorrow, Monday, February 2, 2026, for all locations with the exception of Brandon, Florida; Orange Park, Florida; Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Lexington, Kentucky, which will continue to operate on a normal instructional schedule.
This online instruction day includes J. Frank White Academy.
Students should monitor Canvas for all assignments, instructional materials, and guidance from faculty.
For locations operating online, University offices will open at 10:00 am. Employees should use caution when traveling, and supervisors are encouraged to exercise appropriate flexibility based on local conditions.
University leadership, facilities, safety, and emergency management teams continue to monitor conditions closely. Safety remains the guiding priority as we balance continuity of instruction with responsible decision making.
Please continue to monitor official University communication channels for any additional information or schedule changes.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Cornerstone Program

assisting students with their college transition

The Cornerstone Program is a retention initiative at Lincoln Memorial University for first-time college students who, because of GPA, ACT/SAT scores, or high school academic performance, may need to receive additional academic support services. Each Cornerstone student is provided an academic advisor from the Office of Academic Support who will mentor and assist them during their first two years at LMU.

The Cornerstone program facilitates the adjustment to college, allowing students the chance to successfully matriculate and succeed academically while moving toward graduation. The program will also introduce students to available academic and University resources that are needed to enhance their success and enrich their college experience. Cornerstone students are encouraged to develop interdependent relationships with appropriate campus resources, while the Office of Academic Support provides direction and guidance.

For more information about the Cornerstone Program at LMU, please contact Mrs. Jill Neeley, Director of the Cornerstone Program.
