J. Frank White Academy (JFWA), in partnership with Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Athletics, is excited to announce the continuation of its JFWA Sport-stravaganza program for spring 2024.

This after-school initiative, tailored for JFWA PreK-5 students, has already garnered significant popularity, boasting an average attendance of 54 students during the fall 2023 semester.

Led by LMU's professional staff, the JFWA Sport-stravaganza program will continue to offer sports-related instruction during its weekly after-school sessions. This free program aims to promote physical activity, co-curricular fun, and the development of fundamental sports skills.

The JFWA Sport-stravaganza curriculum encompasses a diverse range of activities suitable for different age groups, including basketball, flag football, wiffle ball, tee ball, soccer, frisbee golf, kickball, corn hole, freeze tag, hide-and-seek, duck, duck, goose, silent ball, four-square, shark and minnows, red light, green light, track and field, golf, tennis and volleyball.

"JFWA Sport-stravaganza has become a beloved after-school program at JFWA. We are thrilled to continue offering this engaging opportunity for students to stay active, have fun, and develop valuable fitness routines," said Dr. Jody Goins, LMU’s executive vice president for Administration.
