Assessment:
- Lead institutional continuous improvement efforts
- Facilitate a campus culture of quality continuous improvement
- Support academic programs, student support programs, and administrative units in the development and implementation of annual assessment processes
- Support academic programs, student support programs, and administrative units in the reporting of annual assessment results through the use of Outcomes Assessment Reports (OAR).
- Provide academic programs, student support programs, and administrative units with formative feedback to promote a mature assessment process.
- Lead the academic program review process for all academic programs
- Facilitate the process of annually updating the University's Strategic Plan
Institutional Research:
- Support institutional data based decision making by collecting, analyzing, and disseminating institutional data
- Lead all internal and external data reporting, including but not limited to federal, state, and local agency reporting and surveys
- Serve as the central institutional data hub
- Support academic schools and administrative units in data collection and analysis
- Lead continuous improvement efforts of institutional data processes
- Support institutional retention and graduation efforts through data collection and analysis of student achievement
- Promote the use of consistent and accurate institutional data by publishing a bi-annual Institutional Research Newsletter
- Support accreditation and licensing efforts by providing necessary institutional data
Accreditation:
- Lead all regional accreditation efforts for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), including but not limited to, 10-year reaffirmation processes, 5th-year interim report processes, substantive changes, and the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP)
- Provide support and leadership for programmatic accreditation
- Provide support and leadership for fulfilling annual state licensure requirements
