Courses developed for online delivery should be pre-planned, comprehensive, and meet standards for content, instructional approach, instructor presence, and technology utilization in order to be offered. Online and hybrid courses are subject to review by CTLE department.

What is a Hybrid Course?
- One (1) or face-to-face meetings replaced with online content, instruction, or assessment.
- Blends both online and campus-based delivery.
- A limited number of online activities added due to instructor illness, emergency, or other extenuating circumstance during a semester does not constitute a hybrid course.
Hybrid Course Requirements for Faculty
- Hybrid courses must be designated as such with the Registrar prior to the start date of the
semester.
- Training is required for all online and hybrid instructors through the CTLE (contact Chief Instructional Technologist for more information).
