Pathways of Service

Although the word "service" seems self-explanatory, sometimes it is difficult to define Service is a language that everyone speaks, but according to our personalities, it can mean many things. LMU's Women of Service hopes to offer avenues for you to express your individual passion for service.

Service Projects WE CURRENTLY ENGAGE IN

Lincoln's Cupboard (Food Pantries) - WOS supports six food pantries for LMU students.  Two are on the main campus, one is at LMU-CVM in Ewing, one at LMU-Cedar Bluff (Knoxville), one at DCOM at LMU-Knoxville and the newest location is at the LMU-Duncan School of Law in Knoxville.

Student Scholarships - WOS has established the Women of Service Endowed Scholarship Fund. Students who wish to apply complete the LMU general scholarship application.  That process begins in November and ends in the early part of the spring semester.

Lincoln's Closet (Clothes Closet) - Lincoln's Closet provides free clothing for all LMU students. The Closet is located in Cumberland Gap (turn left on Pinnacle Alley and it is the first parking lot on the right).

Special Projects

Every donor has a particular dream. Perhaps you wish to give back to the Railsplitter community through a special project. LMU will work to support and facilitate your dreams as we provide service to students together. We invite you to bring your ideas, your talents and your willingness to consider innovative ways to partner in this effort.

We currently have three ongoing projects that fund WOS and have helped us create the Women of Service Endowed Scholarship at Lincoln Memorial University.
