As a part of the College of Mathematics, Sciences, and Health Professions, the Department of Sport and Exercise Science will provide you with a deeper understanding of the physiological, biomechanical and psychological effects of exercise on the human body. At LMU, we offer two options within the Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science program: a pre-occupational therapy track and a general exercise science track.
Students who choose to pursue the general track, you will have the option to select concentrations including sport coaching and sport therapy. This track will prepare you for a wide variety of careers in fields of wellness and fitness.
Students who choose the pre-occupational therapy track are prepared with the skill sets needed to succeed in an Occupational Therapy graduate program. There is a 3+3 track with LMU’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy program as well as the Guaranteed Professional Admission (GPA) program.
