We understand that when you transfer to LMU from another college, you'll have specific objectives and goals for your education that are unique to you. LMU can provide personalized assistance with managing transfer requirements, transfer applications, and transfer deadlines.

Step 1: Submit the online application for admissions.
Step 2: Request that the Registrar from any college you have attended send official copies of your college transcripts directly to LMU electronically or via mail. Transcripts cannot be faxed.
Step 3: Submit your current immunization records
Step 4: Complete the financial aid application process.
LMU will evaluate, for potential transfer, credit awarded by other institutions accredited by associations (regional or national) recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation and/or the U.S. Department of Education. LMU must evaluate all potential transfer credit and determine if such credit is equivalent in terms of academic level, content, quality, comparability of student learning outcomes, and degree program relevance to coursework offered through the University’s curriculum. LMU has transfer agreements with several area community colleges. Click on the institution names below to see which credits will transfer and apply toward an LMU degree.
The State of Tennessee created the Tennessee Transfer Pathway program to give students the opportunity to transfer from a community college in Tennessee to a four-year institution. Students using these pathways are encouraged to keep in mind that these are general pathways intended to allow transfer to multiple institutions, but may not cover all of the course work needed by the accepting institution.
