UNDERGRADUATE MAJORS
The School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences is home to some of LMU's most diverse and historical majors in the fields of Communication and Fine Arts, Language and Literature, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Social Work.

GRADUATE DEGREES
LMU's Master of Public Administration Program (MPA), Master of Science in Criminal Justice (MSCJ), and Master of Science in Psychology (MSP), and Master of Science in Psychology (MSP) programs are all offered as fully online graduate programs. The LMU MPA program is also offered as a hybrid program for international students based out of the Harrogate campus.

Other Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences Programs

In addition to liberal arts degree programs, minors, and graduate programs the Paul V. Hamilton School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences is home to Arts in the Gap, Music at LMU, Theatre program, and Pre-Law Majors. A number of student clubs also have their homes with the School, including lmuart, the English Honor Society Sigma Tau Delta, the LMU Players, SHARE club (Social Work), the Psychology Club, and the Alpha Beta Epsilon Chapter of the American Criminal Justice Association.
Faculty Scholarship

In the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences faculty actively create and promote knowledge in their disciplines. Through articles, books, conference submissions, performance pieces, visual art and a variety of media instructors advance learning in their own fields and enhance academic life at LMU.

Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is celebrating Social Work Month throughout the month of March. Observing the national theme “Social Work Breaks Barriers,” the University hopes to highlight how social workers have enriched our society for more than a century and how their services continue to be needed today.

The Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Paul V. Hamilton School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and The LMU Players will present “Steel Magnolias” for the spring production, Thursday through Saturday, April 20-22. Performances will be held in the Sam and Sue Mars Performing Arts Center in the Duke Hall of Citizenship, on LMU’s main campus in Harrogate, Tennessee.

Lincoln Memorial University’s (LMU) Arts in the Gap (AITG) is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a fantastic lineup of summer workshops for 2023. The event schedule includes workshops all summer long, for people of all ages. Most events will be held at the Paul V. Hamilton Center for the Arts in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. Limited scholarships are available for several events.
