Accreditation

The Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine at Orange Park (LMU-OPCVM) Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program has received a Letter of Reasonable Assurance from the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education (AVMA COE). The AVMA COE is the recognized accrediting body for veterinary medicine in the United States and Canada.

  • Request accreditation and consultative site visit-completed 2023
  • Submit reports and undergo consultative site visit-completed November 2023
  • Request comprehensive site visit and respond to recommendations from consultative report-completed Summer 2024
  • Submit reports and undergo comprehensive site visit-completed January 2025
  • Await review from AVMA COE-Fall 2025
  • AVMA to grant Letter of Reasonable Assurance-Fall 2025
  • Applications for first class open-Fall 2025
  • First class begins-June 2026
