TV and Radio Host Hallerin Hilton Hill to Deliver Commencement Address a LMU on Satuday

 

Harrogate, Tennessee, Dec. 3, 2018—Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) will hold its Winter Commencement Exercises on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at 11 a.m. in Tex Turner Arena on the main campus in Harrogate, Tennessee. Radio and television personality Hallerin Hilton Hill will deliver the graduation address.

Over 350 degree candidates will participate in the ceremony as the University confers 28 associate, 151 baccalaureate, 134 masters, 31 educational specialist and 13 doctoral degrees. Among the doctoral degrees will be nine candidates from the LMU Duncan School of Law (LMU-Law).

Hill is a Renaissance communicator who moves people with ideas on the radio and on television, through music and words. His philosophy is to “grow and help others grow.” He has been a top-rated drive-time radio talk show host in Knoxville for more than 27 years. He has been voted Best Talk Show Host by his loyal listeners and was recently named one of America’s top talk show hosts by Talker’s Magazine. For over a decade he has produced and hosted the television show Anything Is Possible. His guests have included Governor Bill Haslam, the late Pat Summitt, Chris Whittle and numerous others. Hill has worked with the DIY Network, has appeared in national TV commercials and served as narrator/host for several documentaries, including one on the life and work of former Senate Majority Leader Howard Baker. He is the author of the best-selling self-help book, The Seven Pillars of Wisdom, which is also the cornerstone for his wisdom coaching enterprise. Hill is a graduate of Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama, where he studied communications.
