Auditions Set for LMU Players Spring Production
LMU Players are holding play auditions for “New Worx: MMXXI,” a collection of original
plays by LMU students, Thursday, February 11, 4-7 p.m. at the Sam and Sue Mars Performing
Arts Center, and Friday, February 12, 2–6 p.m. via Zoom.
The spring performance will be a staged reading/radio show format with music and actors socially distancing and wearing safety masks during the performance.
Those who audition will be asked to present a one-minute monologue (preferably memorized). Two sample monologues will be available for a cold reading for those who do not have a monologue. Students may register to audition on the sign-up sheet outside of Avery Hall 112, email Joe Gill at [email protected], or attend the auditions. For the ZOOM auditions, the ID is: 844 6373 7731, passcode: audition. The Zoom meeting will include a virtual waiting room.
First rehearsal is set for February 16, with performances April 8-10 at the Sam and Sue Mars Performing Arts Center with social distancing and COVID protocol.
