LMU students can apply for additional assistance through CARES Act Funding
Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) has received over $1 million to assist students whose lives and educations have been disrupted by the coronavirus outbreak. The funds are a part of the $6 billion allocated to colleges and universities in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
In accordance with the CARES Act and the U.S. Department of Education, LMU will distribute cash grants to students for use on course materials, technology, food, housing, health care and child care. Students can access the application through MyLMU. To access look under quick links and select the CARES Act application.
This is just one of several actions LMU has taken to assist students through the significant changes to the delivery of instruction due to the global pandemic. Earlier this month, the University announced a partnership with WellConnect to provide remote mental health counseling and other services to students completing the semester online across the country and around the world.
