LMU-DCOM Alumna Named 2019 Osteopathic Resident of the Year in Obstetrics and Gynecology

AOF Outstanding Resident of the Year Awards

Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) alumnus Marianne Krupka, DO has been named the 2019 Osteopathic Resident of the Year in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF) and the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG).

Krupka graduated from LMU-DCOM in 2016 and is currently completing an OB-GYN residency at Presence Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, where Krupka is administrative and scheduling chief resident as well as a resident representative on the graduate medical education council. A commitment to education drives Krupka toward leadership opportunities, including presenting academic lectures to fellow residents and mentoring rotating medical students.

Krupka says her objective is to make a difference in the lives of women through the practice of osteopathic focused comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care, a goal cemented by osteopathic medicine’s commitment to holistic, compassionate care.
