LMU-CVM to Restructure Under New Dean
The Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM) is restructuring its administration to better serve the needs of the college under the leadership of its new dean, Dr. Stacy Anderson.
The newly formed Dean’s Executive Council will include Dr. Mitchell Moses, associate dean of clinical relations and outreach; Dr. Julie Hunt, associate dean of clinical sciences; Dr. Christopher Kelly, medical director for the DeBusk Veterinary Teaching Center (DVTC); Dr. Randall Evans, associate dean of career services and professional development; Dr. William Muir, associate dean of basic sciences and research; Dr. Don Noah, assistant dean of One Health; Dr. Bess Pierce, associate dean of student affairs and admissions; Dr. John Weale, clinical year strategic advisor to the dean; and Ashley Russell, executive director of operations.
“The Dean’s Executive Council will undergo strategic planning to create a direction for the college,” said Anderson. “As the plans are developed, all faculty and staff will be asked for input and the entire plan will be available for review by the CVM team prior to being instituted.”. Beginning in the new year, our CVM team will re-visit our core values to reaffirm or revise as the college deems necessary.”
Changes have also been made to the roles of various staff that directly support administration.
“We have a dedicated team of leaders, faculty and staff at LMU-CVM,” said Anderson. “I look forward to working with everyone to synergize our strengths to provide the best educational opportunities to our students and continue to move veterinary medicine forward.”
