President McConnell invites the entire community to bring the energy and cheer on the Railsplitters with the Century Pass
The challenge is on: pack the stands, bring the blue and gray and give LMU’s student-athletes a crowd to remember. During Homecoming, Lincoln Memorial University President Jason McConnell challenged students, alumni, families and neighbors across the region to make Railsplitter Athletics a gathering place for the entire community.
His invitation comes with a new reason to join the excitement during the 2026–27 academic year: the LMU Century Pass.
Made possible through a personal contribution from McConnell and his family, the Century Pass covers admission costs for ticketed LMU home athletic events throughout the academic year. Students, alumni, employees, families, neighbors and Railsplitter fans throughout the region are invited to claim a pass, put on their LMU gear and help bring the home crowd to life. Whether you are a longtime fan or attending your first LMU game, there is a place for you in the stands.
“The ticket is on me,” McConnell said. “This is about more than the price of admission. It is about creating a community and building an atmosphere around LMU Athletics. I want our students to bring their friends, our alumni to come back, families to bring their children and people who have never attended an LMU game to come experience it for themselves. That is how traditions begin and how a crowd becomes a community.”
The Century Pass is part of a special centennial celebration recognizing 100 years since the final documented year at LMU of B. Frank “Tex” Turner, whose name is carried by Tex Turner Arena. The celebration honors that history while inviting a new generation to make memories of its own. McConnell’s vision reaches beyond the milestone: bring generations of Railsplitters and communities throughout the region together to cheer on today’s LMU student-athletes.
Now, the community has a chance to answer that challenge. McConnell wants LMU’s student-athletes to look into the stands and see a sea of blue and gray, hear the cheers and feel the support of a community that shows up for its team. Every fan can help build that atmosphere.
“Claim your pass. Wear your LMU colors. Bring your family, your friends and your neighbors,” McConnell said. “Come for the competition. Come for the atmosphere. Come for the memories. Let’s make LMU Athletics one of the places where our entire region comes together.”
