Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is bringing creativity to the spotlight this summer with the return of its Arts in the Gap (AITG) summer program, offering over 40 engaging workshops starting in May.
AITG features hands-on opportunities for participants of all ages to explore a wide range of artistic disciplines. Whether it’s spinning clay on the pottery wheel, stitching a quilt or experimenting with acrylic painting, community members are invited to dive into creative experiences designed to inspire and energize.

“We’re so excited to offer over 40 events and workshops this summer,” said Grace Mahieu, AITG events coordinator. “We have something for everyone to enjoy, from painting to pottery, herbalism and storytelling. Join us to learn a new skill or brush up on some old ones.
Each workshop is led by experienced instructors who focus on creativity, skill development and artistic exploration in a welcoming environment. AITG workshops are open to all ages, and space is limited. Participants are encouraged to register early, as many sessions are expected to fill quickly.
