The Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Paul V. Hamilton School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences has announced a spring lineup of fine arts events for the community, including music, theater and visual arts.

January 12 – February 20 – Lynn Ghenov Art Exhibition at LMU Arts in the Gap, Cumberland Gap (free)
The Knoxville-based artist brings together collage, drawing, and found materials to explore themes of nature, memory, and history. Lynne’s work blends realism and abstraction, inviting viewers to consider how these approaches shape the way we see and understand the world around us. The artist's reception will be on February 5 from 5-7 p.m.
January 16 – Joseph Rebman and Lindsey Goodman at the Duke Hall of Citizenship at 7 p.m. (free)

February 23 – Chroma Collective at the Duke Hall of Citizenship at 7 p.m. (free)
Chroma Collective creates immersive performances that blend music and visual art, inviting audiences to actively participate in the creative process. By breaking down the barrier between performer and listener, they encourage each audience member to find the artist within themselves through collaboration and improvisation.
March 2 – 20 – LMU Student Art Exhibition at LMU Arts in the Gap, Cumberland Gap (free)
This annual student competition will showcase the work of any student enrolled at LMU, no matter their major.
March 30 – May 1 – Beth Meadows Art Exhibition at LMU Arts in the Gap, Cumberland Gap (free)
Meadows creates art that reflects life in the south and how we can interpret it using logo marks, fashion magazines, and colorful interpretations of the world around us. Meadows' work brings a whimsical view of the world while using recycled imagery and materials. The artist’s reception is on April 9 from 5 – 7 p.m.
April 6 – Poiesis Quartet at the Duke Hall of Citizenship at 7 p.m. (free)
The Poiesis Quartet is an award-winning ensemble celebrated for its dynamic, forward-thinking artistry. Winners of the Cleveland Quartet Award and top honors at the Banff and Fischoff International competitions, they are known for expanding the string quartet tradition while bringing fresh energy and depth to every performance.
April 10-12 – Lucky Stiff by the LMU Players at the Duke Hall of Citizenship at 7 p.m.
LMU Players will present “Lucky Stiff” a musical farce directed by Assistant Professor of Theatre Joe Gill.
April 28 – LMU Jazz Band at the Duke Hall of Citizenship at 7 p.m. (free)
April 30 – LMU Concert Band at the Duke Hall of Citizenship at 7 p.m. (free)
Selections will include music from Lord of the Rings as well as classic band pieces like "Chorale and Shaker Dance" and a Karl King march.
