Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) held its annual Bailey/Bishop Memorial Golf Tournament on July 17 at Woodlake Golf & Country Club in Tazewell, Tennessee. The tournament honors the memory of Coach Dean Bailey and Dr. Jerry Bishop and supports LMU student-athletes.
“This tournament is a special tradition that brings people together not only to enjoy a great day of golf, but to honor two men who meant so much to LMU,” said Greg Lasley, LMU director of athletic development. “Coach Bailey and Dr. Bishop were deeply committed to our students and our mission, and it’s meaningful to see their legacy continue through this event.”
This year’s tournament winner was the Dick Nevils team.
The Bailey/Bishop Memorial Golf Tournament brings together alumni, community supporters, and LMU faculty and staff to celebrate the legacy of two individuals who made lasting impacts on the University and its athletic programs.
