LMU College of Dental Medicine Dental Hygiene Class of 2025 Achieves 100% First-Time Pass Rate on Clinical Boards
The Dental Hygiene Program at the Lincoln Memorial University College of Dental Medicine (LMU-CDM) announced that the Class of 2025 has achieved a 100% first-time pass rate on their clinical board examinations.
The dental hygiene clinical board examination is a standardized, hands-on assessment designed to evaluate a candidate’s clinical competency and readiness to practice as a licensed dental hygienist. Administered by regional and national testing agencies, the exam requires students to demonstrate proficiency in patient care, infection control, instrumentation, and other essential clinical skills in a real-world setting.
“I could not be more proud to introduce these graduates as new health care providers in the field of dentistry,” said Dental Hygiene Program Director Cindy Metzger. “Their success is a testament to their hard work, the support of our exceptional faculty, and the strength of our curriculum, which emphasizes academic rigor and hands-on clinical experience.”
The Class of 2025’s achievement marks a significant step toward professional licensure and entry into the field as oral health professionals prepared to serve communities across Tennessee and beyond.
