Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) recognized Dr. Wandaleen Adams as the 2024 Nancy Rogers Leach Volunteer of the Year. Adams, a longtime advocate for education and community service, holds a Master of Education (1991) and an Education Specialist degree (2007) from LMU and has dedicated her career to improving education in Lee County, Virginia.
Throughout her distinguished career, Adams has served in various roles, including teacher, principal, and Head Start director, leaving a lasting impact on countless students. In addition to her professional contributions, Adams has been an active member of LMU’s Southwest Virginia Alumni Chapter and the Women of Service (WOS) organization. As WOS president, she spearheaded the creation of Lincoln’s Closet, a vital resource for LMU students in need.
