Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kasey Ankrom Wasson as the Director of Development for the LMU Duncan School of Law (LMU Law).

Wasson brings a deep connection to the LMU community to her new role. No stranger to LMU, Wasson attended LMU for her undergrad from 2013 to 2017.  Wasson was a member of the LMU women's golf team while pursuing her studies in English literature. She continued her academic journey by earning her juris doctor (JD) at LMU Law in 2020.

Prior to her current appointment, Wasson practiced family law in Knoxville, demonstrating her commitment to the legal profession and her dedication to serving the community. Her background in law and commitment to LMU make her a valuable addition to the Advancement department.

“I am thrilled to be returning to my alma mater as the Director of Development, and I look forward to working towards the growth and success of LMU Law and the community it serves,” said Wasson.

In her new role, Wasson will lead efforts to enhance fundraising initiatives, cultivate relationships with donors, and support the continued growth and success of LMU Law.

The Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law is in Knoxville’s Historic Old City Hall Building. LMU Law is an integral part of LMU’s values-based learning community and is dedicated to preparing the next generation of lawyers to provide sound legal service in the often underserved region of Appalachia and beyond.
