LMU Carter and Moyers School of Education Faculty Present at NASUP

NASUP 2024 education

Faculty from the Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Carter and Moyers School of Education presented two sessions at the National Association for School-University Partnerships (NASUP) in Anaheim, California.  

The NASUP advances the education profession by providing leadership, advocacy and support to create and sustain school-university partnerships such as Professional Development Schools to function as learning communities to improve student learning, prepare educators through clinical practice, engage in reciprocal professional learning and conduct shared inquiry.  

In late March, Dr. Teresa Bicknell, dean and associate professor of education, Dr. Karen Foster, professor of education and Dr. Ashely Stanley, associate professor of education, presented during two sessions on “The Mentorship: Partnerships That Recruit, Recognize, and Support Mentor Teachers” and “Strategic Staffing Partnerships Examining Effective Practices for Supporting Job-Embedded and Apprentice Candidates Throughout the Clinical Residency.”
