LMU Students Recognized for Scholarly Research

Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) proudly hosted its eighth annual Research Day on April 12, showcasing the scholarly endeavors of its students, faculty, and staff. The event featured an array of oral and poster presentations.

 

Over one hundred undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff participated in this year's LMU Research Day, presenting their findings on a wide range of topics spanning various disciplines. From mathematics and sciences to business, education, and osteopathic medicine, the event served as a platform for intellectual exchange and collaboration.

 

The LMU Office of Research, Grants, and Sponsored Programs congratulate the following winners in each of the judged categories:

 

Undergraduate Oral Presentation

  • Joshua Boldon, School of Mathematics and Sciences: "Synthesis and Physiochemical Properties of a Trifluoroacetamido Derivative of Acetaminophen"

 

Undergraduate Group Oral Presentation

  • Stewart Thacker and Christian Piercy, School of Mathematics and Sciences: "Overview of Coastal Marine Trophic Diversity and How Trophic Diversity Affects Ecosystem Health"

Graduate Group Oral Presentation
