Assistant Professor Dr. Ehsanul Hoque Apu Presents Research Poster at NCI IMAT Annual Meeting

Assistant Professor of Biomedical Sciences Ehsanul Hoque Apu, DDS, MSc, PhD, at Lincoln Memorial University-College of Dental Medicine (LMU-CDM), showcased pioneering research at the 24th Annual Principal Investigators Meeting for the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Innovative Molecular Analysis Technologies (IMAT) program December 5 to 8, 2023. The event, hosted by the University of Illinois Cancer Center at the University of Illinois Chicago, brought together leading researchers and professionals in the field of cancer research and clinical care.

The program served as a platform for Hoque Apu to present his cutting-edge work, emphasizing the importance of innovative technologies in advancing cancer diagnostics and treatment. Since its inception in 1998, the IMAT program has been instrumental in supporting emerging technologies for cancer research and clinical care, making the annual meeting a pivotal event for the cancer research community.

The NCI IMAT Annual Meeting serves as a catalyst for innovation and collaboration in cancer research, driving progress towards improved patient outcomes. Hoque Apu's contribution underscores LMU-CDM's commitment to advancing biomedical sciences and making significant strides in research.

The research was led by the University of Michigan and collaborations with the LMU-CDM Biomedical Science Department will continue.
