LMU Caylor School of Nursing to Host Accreditation Review

Doctor of Nursing Practice

The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) will review the Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) Caylor School of Nursing’s (CSON) Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program for continuing accreditation in October.

The general public, alumni and students are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program at the virtual meeting scheduled at 3:55 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Or submit written comments in advance of the virtual meeting.

The LMU-CSON was granted initial accreditation for the DNP program in 2015. The post-master’s DNP program is an online degree program designed specifically for working advanced practice nurses. It can be completed in six semesters of part-time study and slower options are available. The focus of the program is adaptive leadership and practice.
