Harrogate, Tennessee, August 20, 2019 —Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) will offer two CPR, automated external defibrillator (AED) training courses on August 27 at LMU-Knoxville located at 9737 Cogdill Lane in room 243A.
Heartsaver CPR & AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches critical skills needed to respond to and manage a choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat adults, children and infants experiencing cardiac arrest. They will learn how to use an AED and provide treatment for adults, children and infants who are choking. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use.
The course is being offered at a reduced price of $40. Class size is limited, and attendees may choose to take the class from 9 a.m. to noon or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. depending on availability. You must pre-register by emailing [email protected] or by calling or texting 865.585.0909.
