Greek Life

Go Greek!

Involvement in Greek Life is an excellent opportunity for students to learn and grow by joining their peers in pursuit of academic excellence, leadership development, servitude, and lasting relationships. The foundation of Greek Life at LMU is built upon these four pillars. All activities hosted by our Greek Organizations are designed to provide students opportunities for growth in one or more of these areas.

Scholarship

Academics are always first. Each Greek organization has its own academic standards for members in addition to requirements set by the Inter-Greek Council.

Leadership

Involvement in Greek Life provides students opportunities to serve in several leadership positions through their specific organization, Inter-Greek Council, Student Government Association, and more. Students also have opportunities to develop their leadership skills through leadership seminars and retreats, focus groups.

Service

Serving the surrounding community is a major part of Greek Life at LMU. Whether it's volunteering at a local nursing home, raking leaves for neighbors, or raising money for cancer research, our Greek students are committed to making a difference.

Community

Joining a fraternity or sorority provides students an opportunity to build lifelong relationships that extend beyond ordinary friendships. LMU Greeks enjoy a century-old network of brothers and sisters from across the country providing mentorship, professional networking, and a home away from home almost everywhere you go.
