Selected Works

Ann Walsh Long was a founding member of the Lincoln Memorial University School of Law Library. With more than 25 years of experience, Ann has worked in the government setting at the EPA, in the private sector at several large law firms, and in the academic setting at the West Virginia University College of Law. She has written numerous articles and presented regionally and nationally on current trends in law libraries and recently authored A Short & Happy Gide to Advanced Legal Research (West Academic 2020). Long received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Lawyering Skills I in 2010 and the AALL Spectrum Article of the Year Award in 2000. She was also featured in Law Librarian Blog’s Spotlight on Law Librarians in 2006. She received her J.D. from Lincoln Memorial University School of Law, her M.S.L.S. from the Catholic University of America, and her B.A. from Colorado College.
