Dr. Rupani received her Doctor of Medical Science (DMS) in Clinical Medicine from LMU with distinction in Primary Care. She also has a Master's in Advanced physician assistant studies and a BS in Chemistry.
Dr. Rupani has been a PA for over a decade with clinical practice in primary care and urgent care. She believes in life-long learning and the advancement of her medical knowledge and understanding to improve health care. In August 2020, Dr. Rupani passed the National Asthma Educator Certification Exam offered by the NAECB, becoming the second certified physician assistant Asthma Educator (AE-C) in the State of Tennessee.
Other than being active in various committees within LMU, Dr. Rupani is a member of many local and national organizations. She has a passion for teaching; she shares her medical knowledge with her colleagues and other members of healthcare to impact patient care positively. Dr. Rupani has been a speaker at many local and national CME conferences. She has vested her interest in preparing the next generation. Other than teaching the future PA students, Dr. Rupani provides free tutoring to young children once a week
Dr. Rupani was recognized for her work and achievements on multiple occasions. She won the Alpha Chi Honor Society Award in 2018/2019, the DMS Advocate Award in 2019, Valedictorian of her PA Class of 2010, Dean's Award (2009/10), and President's award (2006-2008), to list a few. Dr. Rupani was featured as the "Clinician of the Month" in the Contemporary Clinic Magazine in October 2016. Dr. Rupani has been recognized as an inspiration to people who have known her.
