Chemical Physics

Chemical Physics majors explore modern physics and electronics as well as the core areas of chemistry — organic, inorganic, analytical, physical and biochemistry. Engaged course experiences and faculty-mentored independent research opportunities are the hallmarks of the Chemical Physics program. Students work alongside professors in LMU’s 140,000 square-foot state-of-the-art Hamilton Math and Science building. Students in the Secondary Teacher Education Licensure Program graduate well-prepared to address the growing nationwide demand for middle school and/or high school teachers in the STEM areas
