Job Description:
Associate Veterinarian in California
Reading through the employment adds, they all start to look the same. You get a little history, some real estate information and then an equipment list. The most important part of a veterinary hospital is the people! We get that! We have employees that have been with us for decades, I think that says something about our team! That said; let me bore you with some history, real estate information and an equipment list: We currently have 4 small animal practices in the Modesto/Manteca communities of the Central Valley. College Veterinary Hospital, our original location, has been providing veterinary care since 1965. As well as general practice, we work with a boarded dermatologist, a boarded cardiologist, a boarded surgeon and a boarded radiologist. We have digital X-ray, digital dental x-ray, surgical laser, ultrasound, and complete in house laboratory equipment. For the convenience of our clients we also offer boarding and grooming.
Due to the success of our practices and the growth of the surrounding area, we are looking for two additional doctors. We have great, modern hospitals, motivated staff, and great clients………..we need great veterinarians. Our starting salary is $85,000.00, $5000.00 for moving expenses, health insurance allowance, employer funded profit sharing plan, C.E. allowance, association memberships and no emergency calls.
If your goals include practicing progressive medicine and working in an enjoyable atmosphere, then give us a call. We welcome the chance to talk to you, answer any questions, and arrange a tour of the hospitals. We will cover the travel expenses for serious inquires.
