We strategically designed the RN-BSN program to help you, as an ASN educated RN, to further expand both your future nursing career and education options. At LMU, we know that everyone's personal schedules are unique and can often be quite busy, and we want to ensure that you can maintain the level of flexibility that you need in both your personal and professional life. So, we decided it would be best to offer our RN-BSN degree option 100% online! If you prefer to learn in person, some seated courses are offered at the main LMU campus in Harrogate, Tennessee, the Cedar Bluff campus in Knoxville, and the campus in Tampa, Florida.
During your time in the program, we will help you develop the tools you need to function at a professional level and to be a qualified candidate for graduate education. As a BSN-educated RN, you will likely possess a higher earning potential, a better chance at promotions in your career, and the chance to pursue advanced nursing degrees.

Before formally applying to the RN-BSN program, you must first be admitted to the university. Find more information about undergraduate admissions here.
Admission to the University, however, does not guarantee admission to this program. Admission to the program is competitive. Factors considered include: cumulative grade point average, ACT/SAT scores, grades/grade point average in required BSN Degree Core Curriculum courses, number of repeated courses and withdrawals, and grade improvement over time.
The Admissions Committee will review all of your submitted materials and records, and you will be considered based on admission criteria. Interviews may be conducted. Any omission, false, or misleading information on the application related to prior admission to a nursing school will preclude you from being considered for admission or will result in dismissal from the program.
